Destiny graduated from Florida State University, Magna Cum Laude, with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development in 2008. During her time at FSU, she enjoyed being a member of the Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Golden Key International Honor Society. She has always had a passion for working with children and this heightened when she was an extern for a Speech Language Pathologist in high school and also during her Directed Individual Study with the research department while she was attending FSU. After she graduated from FSU, she accepted a position as an alternate administrator for a home health care agency which introduced her to the amazing field of occupational therapy. She immediately fell in love! Destiny graduated from FAMU with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2015. To her, there is no greater feeling than helping children gain confidence in themselves after learning a new skill. Although she loves all aspects of this field, sensory processing is a professional passion. When she's not practicing, you can find Destiny at the beach, on a walk with her dog, watching football, somewhere listening to live music, and enjoying life with her loving husband and two beautiful daughters.
